Service Description

In the 15th century, wool applique began appearing on household items in place of the crewelwork. Applique has evolved into several specific styles of quilts. Broderie perse quilts became popular in the 1700's in America. Wool applique has made a comeback in the past several years. During the two hours classes, participants will learn the basics of wool applique, learning about the wool itself, how to transfer the designs using the freezer paper method, how to pick floss colors, and learn different stitches. Each session involves two classes, where each participant will make one project.
