Lionheart Stables and The Art Diner are joining forces to offer a NEW full day camp in Long Valley of learning how to take care of horses, horseback riding, and swimming in the morning and crafting, Cold Cooking, and outside play time in the afternoon. We also offer half days (either in the mornings 9-12 or afternoons 1-4) this summer for children entering kindergarten through fifth grade in the fall.
This is a great opportunity for kids to beat summer boredom while letting them nurture their creative side and love of horses! We will be offering sessions that will last one week and each week has it's own fun theme, which means you can sign kids up for more than one session and they will continue to be entertained!
We are offering the following themes for each sessions:
June 27-July 1: Out of this world!
July 5-July 8 (no camp on July 4th): Game On!!
July 11-July 15: Camping out
July 18-22: Under the sea
July 25-July 29: Mad science!
August 1-5: Around the world
August 8-12: Crafting and cooking in nature
August 15-19: Wacky fairy tales
9-10am Parent drop off and saying good morning to the horses!! Let's get the horses ready to start the day with grooming, feeding, and saddling them.
10-10:45am Riding lesson
10:45-11 Snack time
11-11:45am Outside play time
12-1pm lunch and free play outside (weather permitting or inside the studio if it's too hot outside or it's raining)
1-2pm Swim Time!
2-2:15 Morning parent pickup
2-3pm Crafting Time (Slime Time, Splat It and Pour It! room time, Pool Noodle Creatures, DIY Teepees, DIY Fun Shape Sidewalk Chalk, etc)
2-2:45pm Free Play outside weather-permitting or free play inside the studio if it's too hot outside or it's raining)
2:45-4pm Cold Cooking Time/snack (cupcake decorating, making energy balls, and s'mores)
4-4:15pm Ice cream/pack up time/parent pickup
After Care Schedule:
4:15-5:30pm Edible Science!
5:30-6pm Pack up and game time (either outdoors or indoors depending on the weather)
6-6:15pm Parent pick up
Nut-free sack lunches and water bottles need to be provided for each camper who attends the morning or full day schedule. We will provide two snacks (one for the morning and one for the afternoon) plus ice cream for afternoon campers.
Tuition is $700 per one week full-day session (9-4), $500 for either the morning session or $200 for the afternoon session. After care is an additional $200
