Kidz Intro To Drawing and Painting

Service Description

If your kids love to draw and paint, but would like some guidance, then this class is for them! Kids will create a portfolio, learn how to draw circles, triangles, rectangles, and squares as the base for more complex drawings. We will then introduce Gridding followed by value, tints and shades. For the last three classes, the kids will paint a details picture, learning how to block in local color, and add detail and texture. This 6-week program is open to ages 7 to 10 and is appropriate for true beginners. All materials are included in the price of this program. Classes meet every Monday at 11:30 and 4:30 starting on September 11th, but you can start anytime! These classes are ongoing throughout the school year. The cost for this class is $200 for six classes. No make-up classes at this time. -Artists missing a workshop do so at their own loss. (one-time class) -No refunds or prorates for missed classes. -Individuals who withdraw from their course (6-week art class) within 2 weeks before it begins, may do so less $35 processing fee. -An enrolled student withdrawing 1 week before, or after, it begins will receive no refund, unless outstanding circumstances exist (e.g medical condition with Dr note, or extreme family emergency). However, credit can be extended to a class of equal value, minus any classes attended and less a $35 processing fee.
